This is an easy meal to prepare at camp in about 15 minutes with a little bit of preperation at home.
- Instructions (Before Camp)
- Pour chicken broth into a 2 quart sause pan.
- Dice raw chicken into 1 inch cubes and place in sauce pan with chicken broth.
- Chop celery and carrots and place in sauce pan with chicken broth.
- Turn stove on Medium-High and bring to a boil.
- Cover and simmer on low for 15 minutes until chicken is done and vegatables begin to soften.
- Turn off heat and let cool for about 10 minutes.
- Place in 1-gallon freezer bag. Refrigerate. Keep cool until preparation time at camp.
- Instructions (During Camp)
- Pour the broth, chicken and vegatable mixture into a large pot wide enough for the layer of biscuits. (about 10 inches)
- Turn the stove on medium heat and bring to a boil.
- Open can of biscuits and cut each biscuit into quarters.
- When mixture is boiling, gently stir in can of Cream of Chicken Soup and return to boil
- When mixture is again boiling, reduce heat to low.
- When bubbles stop, gently place biscuits on top of soup being careful not to submerge. Cover entire top surface.
- Cover pot and let simmer on low heat for about 15 minutes.
- When biscuits puff up, remove from heat and serve.
