Troop 84 had a lot of fun during this years Cookoff/ Court of Honor. We started with 2 hours to cook, and then we set our meals in a buffet style line in the church. After everything was eaten, we then proceeded to the Court of Honor. This was the first one after summer camp, so as we expected, there were a ton of merit badges awarded. Similarly, many ranks were handed out too, mostly to the newer scouts but with some exeptions. My hope is that everyone enjoyed this event as much as I did.

Troop 84 had a blast on this years summer camp at Camp Falling Rock. We spent 7 days and 6 nights earning merit badges, most of which were easy considering the ratio of counselers to scouts was 2:1. Everybody got a variety of merit badges, but none could meet the troop record of 14 merit badges earned at summer camp. Many of our newer scouts participated in Pathways, formerly known as Brown Sea, to get asclose as they can to first class.
This this breakfast is full of flavor! Chorizo, a Mexican sausage, is made from either pork or beef. It features flavors of cumin, oregano, thyme, cloves, and chilis. Chorizo is paired with eggs for a delicious combination. Definitely different than the typical sage breakfast sausage.
These buritos can also be served with avocado, sour cream, and cilantro.
