Service at Field of Heros

It’s that time of year again when there are several opportunities to serve in your community. With that said, we are looking for Scouts who would like to assist with the 12th Annual Field of Heroes Flag Retirement Ceremony. In this ceremony, we will cut the stars and stripes apart of a large flag while a script is read and honor Old Glory by laying her on the fire one piece at a time. Your scout will help to hold this flag and will work with another scout partner to safely retire the rest.

Earth Day is a great opportunity for Service Opportunites

Several of us need service hours to advance or work on a MB.

With Earth Day approaching, here is a great site to use to find where and when you can work!

I recommend the hours, do above and beyond,

A SCOUT IS HELPFUL!
DO A GOOD TURN DAILY!
BE CONSERVATION MINDED!
BE CLEAN IN  YOUR OUTDOOR MANNERS!
LEAVE NO TRACE!

Welcome New Troop 84 Scouts and Adults!

Welcome to Troop 84!

We are so happy to have your scouts join us on their scouting journey.  We are also happy to have you support them and the troop as we prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. As we get started on that journey, I wanted to make you aware of some key activities and milestones for the next couple of months.
