This February, Troop 84 took a trip up to Otter Run for this year's Skiing Campout!

The first thing that the scouts encountered upon arrival was about 2 whole feet of snow on the ground! The scouts had to physically dig out places for their tents to go! It was a new experience for almost everyone!

After some wonderful Dutch-Oven-Cooked food from our Cook, Oliver, in the morning, we headed for Mad River Mountain! we had a fun-filled day of Skiing and Snowboarding as we did tricks and went down some crazy hills! Lucky for us there were no injuries so there wasn't any paperwork to fill out!

When we finally got back to camp, we all settled down for a Chess Tournament! It was intense and there was a lot of thought put in to each move made! the Result was Ben as the winner, Second Place to Evan, and Third to Jake and Trey, giving the Tomahawks the most points scored in the competition.

The next day we packed up and headed out after breakfast!

Overall, the scouts had a great time and it was one amazing experience.

Did I mention it was cold? (21°F and 22°F was the lowest temperature each night)
